PS Paid Studio Visits
Para Site launches PS Paid Studio Visits, a new online series of virtual studio visits with a younger generation of Hong Kong artists. At a time when many parts of the economy supporting artists’ livelihoods have ground to a halt for an indefinite period of time, Para Site initiates this project as a modest contribution to pay close attention to local artists, a vulnerable community during the global pandemic, and to provide support with a studio visit fee and a one-month coverage of health insurance.
Throughout the next few months, a list of over 60 Hong Kong artists will walk the “visitors” through their studios and works in different formats including pre-recorded videos, live in-situ visits with Para Site team members, and virtual studio visits on Zoom. During live sessions, colleagues and audience members, both local and international, will be invited to attend these studio visits. All studio visit footage will be available on Para Site’s website, Vimeo and Youtube accounts.
Among a growing list of artists, PS Paid Studio Visits will pay "visits" to Doreen Chan, Chan Kakiu, Enoch Cheung, South Ho, Vivian Ho, Ip Wai Lung, Kitty Ko Sin Tung, Kung Chun Hei, Andio Lai, Lai Lon Hin, Sunday Lai, Law Yuk Mui, Lau Wai, Lee Kai Chung, Ocean Leung, Liao Jiaming, Lo Lai Lai, Popo Post Art Group, Stephanie Sin, Ma Yujiang, Mak Ying Tung, Florence Tan Xinyu, Ali Wong Kit Yi, Nicole Wong, Wu Jiaru, Yim Sui Fong, Alex Yiu, and others to be announced shortly. 未來幾個月內，逾60名香港藝術家將會帶領觀眾以不同方式探訪他們的工作室及介紹他們的作品，探訪形式包括錄像、Para Site策展人現場訪問，以及線上會面，歡迎本地及海外的觀眾朋友參與。直播的錄影將會上傳於Para Site網站、Vimeo及YouTube專頁。
