Let's also clarify that CAS does not discuss whether scores were correct or not. They only look at whether there was manipulation
• On 17 June 2024, Trikomiti, Aliprandi, Bedoshvili, De Cossio, Todorova and Piscupescu met virtually for a re-judging of routines of Lewinska and Tugolukova. Final score for Lewinska should have been 123 points (actual score - 130,3), while score of Tugolukova should have been 128,8 (actual score - 130,55)
• FIG commissioned group of experts (confidential) to perform review of routines and given scores (the “FIG Review”). According to that review, score of Lewinska should have been 128,7,
while score of Tugolukova should have been 122,6
• Trikomiti's side: Trikomiti refused to judge Lewinska. In addition, Piscupescu's statements are controversial, as she increased DB score for ball exercise for Lewinska from 10,3 to 10,6, which contradicts statements that Trikomiti asked to lower score. Blocking system was working normally
• "Lewinska" side (well, not only): Having seen in real time scores entered by JPanel and SuperJ members, Trikomiti requested to lower their scores or to input specific score, with intention of
triggering block system. Once scores were blocked, Trikomiti, as President of SJ, could request that JP amend their scores. This manipulation was to detriment of Lewinska and Lytra, and was intended to unduly favour Tugolukova
Such interference occurred on 3 specific occasions:
>Lytra’s ball routine: Piscupescu changed her score from 9,5 to 9,0 because Trikomiti instructed her to do so, thereby triggering block of score of JP. Only Trikomiti had authority to request that system be reopened to allow SJ to input new score. This is why, Trikomiti instructed to reopen system, and, under her pressure, Piscupescu entered new score of 9,5
>Lewinska’s ball routine: both Piscupescu and Aliprandi confirm that Trikomiti instructed Piscupescu to change DB score for Lewinska’s ball routine. By testifying at hearing that she was instructed by Trikomiti to “raise” DB score for Lewinska’s Ball routine, Piscupescu did not contradict herself, having merely testified previously that she was instructed to “change”
such score. Aliprandi’s statement at hearing according to which Trikomiti instructed Piscupescu and Todorova to “lower” score was in fact reference to athlete’s general score. In addition, highly unusual circumstance in which all 4 score components for Lewinska’s ball routine were simultaneously blocked
>Lewinska’s ribbon routine: Piscupescu understood from Todorova, who was sitting closer to Trikomiti, that latter had instructed Piscupescu to change DB score initially given by Piscupescu. Eventually, Piscupescu entered score that she believed was correct one, despite Trikomiti’s request. Ms Moltubakk, who was observing competition from tribune as spectator, confirmed that during competition, several communications took place between Trikomiti and members of the SJ before latter entered their scores, including after Lewinska’s ribbon routine
