What will happen as we get closer and closer to the election is everyone on both sides will get more and more psychotic, people will ruin friendships, dox and get doxed for no reason, and then the election will happen and a few months after the election, no matter who wins, everyone will go back to their mediocre life and realise the system is decaying on a fundamental level for the next three years — at which point the psychosis will ramp up again.
