🚀 SpaceX to Deorbit the ISS 🚀
NASA has selected SpaceX to develop a spacecraft to safely deorbit the International Space Station (ISS). The vehicle will dock with the ISS, lower its orbit perigee to 160 kilometers, then re-enter the atmosphere and burn up. The U.S., Japan, Canada, and ESA member countries have committed to operating the ISS until 2030, while Russia has pledged to continue at least until 2028.
