I can summarize the next few days:
Many will want to know if the pope is a Leftist or not, and they will probably directly ask the question.
Trads (who only seem to be moderate on everything political now) will say something like “left and right are modern concepts that the church doesn’t conform to” (no one will even dispute that claiming to transcend politics is ludicrous and that “left” and “right” are basic descriptions of beliefs. It sounds deep and trad to appeal to history while defending the supposed apolitical nature of Rome)
The question will then become if the pope believes in such trivial things as borders and enforcing laws
Trads will then find some basic concession by the pope where he says something to the effect of “of course I believe in laws” after a long list of reasons why you aren’t allowed to enforce laws about borders which might stop demographic change. At this point, they might also bring up that the pope opposed homosexuality a decade ago, so the pope is very “socially” conservative forever and ever.
Then the question will eventually become whether the pope will do anything to stop the various catholic organizations from violating the borders, but by then, the next news item will cycle in before we get to see how the question gets deflected this time
