Swiss cheese method
The essence of the method is to complete the task in parts and in any order. That is, we must select from the task some simple action that does not cause us rejection, and perform it. Then find the next such action, then the next, and so on until all the work is completed.
We should only use the Swiss cheese method when we are faced with a choice: do something or do nothing at all. For example, when we put off an important project for years or cannot decide to complete some task. In other cases, it is better to do without it.
In addition, the method is absolutely not suitable for urgent matters. If a task requires immediate completion, then it is unlikely to be possible without good old self-compulsion.
