In my neighborhood, there's a run down 7-Eleven that's obviously a hot spot for homeless people to camp out and hassle the locals. It's the one strip of real estate that no one goes because it's the only area where homeless people gather. I was telling a friend the store is a nuisance and they need to shut down so the rest of the businesses on the street can thrive. My friend was telling me there isn't actually a relationship between homeless people and 7-Elevens, so I went to Google for some information about this.
Apparently, 7-Elevens like to play classical music and opera to drive away certain populations. Recently, a city compelled the store to stop playing the music, and a resident complained that he wouldn't mind if it were rock music instead. 😂 They have no idea what's going on here.
