I had a substantive phone call with the President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló. Thank you for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
I informed him about the situation on the battlefield. We discussed the consequences of the so-called Wagner group's attempted coup and its destructive activities in Africa. We agreed to intensify cooperation and contacts between Ukraine and Guinea-Bissau at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
