Sad Truths About Escaping Poverty.
1 The habit you develop to survive poverty keeps you poor.
2 It is not possible to eradicate poverty. No matter the efforts you make, many people will still choose a different option based on their personal reasons or interest that will keep them poor and continue struggling.
3 Being poor/broke actually makes people more materialistic, or focused on money, which keep them poor. They think about money all the time, usually in a worrisome manner. Their entire existence seems to centre around money. The more you think about money in a worrisome way, the more the universe will never let money come your way. It is psychologically exhausting.
4 The root cause of poverty is ignorance. Even the holy book says that my people perish for lack of wisdom.
5 Many poor people have the belief that the only choice they have is to be poor.
6 The people who could help the poor escape poverty are mocked and ridiculed for actually trying.
7 Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
8 The poor can see the one that will pull them out of poverty as enemy. Thus, losing the opportunity to be helped.
9 Many find it difficult to change their mental programme or have a paradigm shift from poverty consciousness to abundance consciousness.
10 Poverty actually costs more money than having financial security/freedom. The poor spend more money to appear rich, feel belonged or not to be called poor. Thus, servicing their poverty.
11 Environment, background and upbringing play significant role in keeping people poor. Escaping poverty is very difficult if you live in a poor society with everybody else around you being poor.
12 Many people have the ability to escape poverty, but either fail to recognize it, or fail to try. Some simply play victim or blaming games.
13 Many failed to sacrifice consumption habits.
14 Until you surmount the survival stage, you will spend all your time just surviving.
