Kristen Stewart, considered as one of the major young talents of Hollywood, is the first American ever receiving the French film award César in 2015 for her role in "Clouds of Sils Maria" by Olivier Assayas alongside Juliette Binoche.
Beside her outstanding acting career she celebrated her directorial and screenwriting debut with the short film "Come Swim" in 2018 and is currently working on her feature-length directorial debut, the film adaptation of the bestseller "The Chronology of Water" by Lidia Yuknavitch.
