In the beta version of Telegram for iOS, you can now archive chats
After the archiving in the dialog list on swipe down will appear folder with archived chats.
At the same time, if the chat or channel is not muted it will appear in the list on receiving new messages.
Also in the dialog list you will see the green dot on users that are online. This can help quickly to find the dialog partner.
