Last night at least six aircraft owned by ATD Flight School based at Kansas Wheeler Downtown were left untied down on the ramp to make room for an event in the hangar. Recorded gusts I can find were over 40 knots, though I’m sure there were higher peaks. Event wasn’t even last night. Sad day for Kansas/Missouri aviation.
