Світу потрібен дієвий механізм покарання винних у первинному злочині агресії – у злочині, який відчиняє браму для всього зла такої війни.
Повна відповідальність – це те, що привчає агресорів до миру. Вони повинні відповісти за все, що наробили, не лише перед історією, а перед судом.
Хай це відбудеться в ім’я кожного і кожної, хто загинув від рук російських воєнних злочинців. Хай це відбудеться в ім’я кожної української дитини, чиє життя було забране російським терором.
Хай це відбудеться в ім’я цінностей світу, на яких побудоване міжнародне право і які мають діяти – ефективно діяти завжди і всюди на землі.
Сказав про це, звертаючись до учасників Бучанського саміту.

The world needs an effective mechanism for punishing those guilty of the primary crime of aggression – the crime that opens the door to all the evils of such war.
Full accountability is what teaches aggressors to live in peace. They must be held accountable not only to the history, but also to the court for everything they have done.
May this happen in the name of everyone who died at the hands of Russian war criminals. May this happen in the name of every Ukrainian child whose life was taken by Russian terror.
May this happen in the name of the values of the world, on which international law is built and which must function – function effectively, always and everywhere on Earth.
