Team's sponsors, POLA and Chacott, put pressure on Federation, demanding an independent investigation. As result, sponsors logos disappeared from gymnasts leotards, as we could see in Milan (photo).
Independent law firm was brought in to investigate case. They interviewed gymnasts and others, reviewed materials, but they concluded that there was no problems
