10 things that Telegram didn't mention in its latest blog post
1. Video
Video calls are only available for users of Apple devices (instruction and video instruction).
2. View private channels without joining
After Telegram added this feature in its previous update for iOS and macOS, this function has added for the Telegram Android and Desktop client (more information).
3. Auto-hide chat from the main conversation list
This function isn't available for all accounts and it'll turn on by server-side, if you interact with many of unfamiliar people in private messages.
4. New menu in the dialog
holding on the small profile pictures in group chats shows a new menu, which allows you to navigate to your profile or to mention the user in the specific group (only available on iOS client).
5. The ability to configure the maximum cache size
In settings menu, there is a possibility to set the cache size. it is only available for users of iOS/MacOS Clients.
6. Mini-Thumbnails
Turning off this feature in the chat lists in not possible from now on.
7. Aspect ratio for videos on Android Media editor
It's not removed. you should hold the "Mirror" button in media editor screen to change its aspect ratio.
8. Checking the exact join date & time of a subscriber by channel admins
On Android client, admins of a channel can check subscribers joined date & time in that specific channel in subscriber list.
9. Quick answers to the questions
In the settings of the Android/iOS clients, after you open the search, it automatically opens a list of questions from the FAQ. According to some rumors, in the near future it will be translated into your local language.
