Viola Sella on injury that prevented her from taking part in European Championships
It's never easy to accept injury, especially when it forces you to stop and give up competitions for which you were preparing with all your heart.
Physical pain goes away relatively quickly, but disappointment of not being able to be on carpet, of not being able to experience adrenaline of competition, unfortunately lasts longer, but this is also beauty of sport, one day it brings you great satisfaction and another puts you in front of equally great challenges that however allow us to be able to come back stronger and more aware.
I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the entire Italian team who have just returned from European Championships in Tallinn and big good luck to all gymnasts who will be busy this weekend at Absolute National Championships. See you on carpet SOON
