The real reason why they shitcanned Kimmel, I suspect, is that these late night shows are completely dead relics that cost these networks way too much money for absolutely no gain. They are remnants of like 2 entertainment industries ago and haven't been remotely relevant in 10-20 years. They're all looking for reasons to dump these stupid shows, and Kimmel was way to full of himself to realize that and just keep his head down and STFU.
