The research used data from NASA's global satellite network to create a comprehensive map of global air pollution levels. The results showed that over 80% of the world's population lives in areas where air quality levels exceed the guidelines set by the World Health Organization (WHO). This means that almost nowhere on Earth is completely safe from air pollution.
