Github上有人发起了“禁止‘封闭社会’使用‘开放社会’所开发的技术”的项目，OSOS。其中把贵国当成了一个“easy target”。另有人在项目上发起issue，称如果执行OSOS的话，那么用户就会“choose a project not because it is the best technically or fits their need the best, but because it supports their favorite cause, or because it echoes their favorite rallying cry of protest.”
