Iliana Raeva about Elvira's playing under Bulgarian flag
She is not allowed to compete. Situation is a bit strange. We immediately wrote to FIG and Russian Federation. But there is one point that Russia is currently not allowed by Worlds organisations and they are holding some competitions with their regulations that are out of reach of FIG. We are still not sure whether she has right to compete, but in any case she does not have right to compete on behalf of Bulgaria. I do not foresee any fines. What I and Board of Federation want - that her Bulgarian passport be revoked. This is difficult procedure, but Elvira Krasnobaeva was given a Bulgarian passport because she is good gymnast and because she has great chance of becoming very strong world-class gymnast.
